How To Uninstall Flash Player From Windows PCs – Working Tutorial
Adobe Flash Player is a commonly used application that provides a platform to view graphic applications and videos. However, despite its capabilities and advantages, it has been reported to bring about numerous problems to your Windows system. The errors that this application causes will make your computer incapable of reading this program. To prevent this issue, you need to completely remove it out of your system through various available techniques.
Adobe Flash Player can be uninstalled manually or by using an automated tool that will do the task for you. The surest way to eliminate this program is to automatically uninstall it using a tool that will scan through your system and delete all the traces of this program.
If you intend to remove Adobe Flash Player manually, you have to complete some boring steps. For Windows XP users, you can begin by clicking “Start” and then proceed by going to the “Control Panel“. Then select “Add & Remove Programs” as the control panel windows appear. For Windows Vista & 7, press “Start” followed by clicking the “Control Panel“. Then select “Uninstall Program” from the control panel window box. These steps will enable the “Add & Remove Programs” applet to load up. From here, select the Adobe Flash Player program and do the next steps as prompted by the instructions that will appear on your computer screen. The elements of the software will be removed by this process. Take note though that you have to make sure you also delete the files that this program will leave in your system. To do this, press “Start” and then go to “My Computer” and locate “C:/Program Files/“. Look for the files the Adobe program may have left. After identifying the files that were left, click the folder and hit SHIFT + DELETE on your keyboards to remove the files permanently from your computer. To finish the process, reboot your PC.
The alternative method to remove Adobe Flash Player program is to uninstall it with an automated tool such as the highly recommended “Final Uninstaller” program. To do this, start by downloading the uninstaller program from the internet and then make sure that you install the software in your computer. Then select “Scan” and locate Adobe Flash Player from the list of “Installed Programs“. Mark the check box located on the left side and then press “Clean“.
The final step is to clean the registry. The “registry” is the central database that stores all the pertinent files, settings, options, and information in your system. As Windows loads up, it reads the necessary files in order for it to run smoothly through this database. However, the registry gets corrupted, damaged, or infected making your computer experience problems and errors. Take note that files that may be left from the uninstalled programs may be kept here, thus, posing a greater risk for your system to be subjected to errors. To fix this issue, you have to download and run a registry cleaning tool to clean up the system and allow your computer to function efficiently and become error-free.
