3 Main Parts of a Metal Detector and Accessories Essential for Metal Detecting

The major difference between the two is appearance and some hobbyists would profess that the spider coil is more precise than the round coils. Not only that, some hobbyists believe that it is sturdier than the round coils.

Trowel. The trowel is an important and necessary accessory in metal detecting. Naturally, when you have pinpointed a target, you will need to dig it up. There are a number of trowels specifically aimed for treasure hunting, but the gardening implement will suffice and service its purpose.

Scuff cover. A scuff cover is important as this will provide protection for your detector. Not only that, this will provide additional water proofing for your control box.
