How to Remove the LCD Display From My Gateway Laptop PC

With computer technology advancing at an exponential rate, upgrading your computer is becoming an attractive option. A monitor upgrade can improve your computer’s video display capabilities. You will need to remove your display if it is currently broken, or if you wish to upgrade to a better one. Anytime you remove your laptop’s display unit you will need to replace it with another one. Changing components on a laptop computer is generally considered more difficult than on a PC. Remove the face plate and keyboard from your laptop computer. Your face plate will be connected to your laptop’s base by several latches located near the edges of your laptop. Remove these carefully with your hands.

Remove the keyboard from your Gateway laptop.Your Keyboard will be connected to the base by several screws located near the corners of the keyboard.
