Purchasing and Enjoying Computer Subwoofers
So, you just bought that fantastic new computer, but you still need speakers. And, if you bought a laptop, it may be convenient for mobility purposes, but speaker quality isn’t the greatest. However, as you are considering your speaker purchasing, make sure to include a 10″ computer subwoofer to add that booming bass and sound quality to your system’s audio output. Although computer subwoofer speakers come in a wide variety of sizes and prices, they are very affordable, and the 10 inch subwoofer will quite nicely and adequately meet your system’s audio needs.
Most speaker sets you buy for your computer come with two smaller speakers, plus the subwoofer. They are easily connected in a matter of minutes, but do require an Electrical Outlet. If the current supply around your system is at a premium, a Power Strip with several outlets can be purchased, requiring only one of your wall receptacles. Most people place the computer subwoofer speaker underneath the system, either on a shelf or on the floor. If the system is located in an apartment or duplex, care should be taken as to speaker placement, in order not to disturb other residents.
As with any other possession, there is minimal care and maintenance. Keep speakers away from high traffic area, food and moisture. Include them and your system in your regular dusting and cleaning routine. If they are to be mounted, use recommended hardware, or that which comes with the mounts. If renting, seek permission first before wall mounting. The wireless variety are another option for easy portability and preferred exact placement, within a home. They eliminate the need to hide unsightly wires, but are more expensive.
Once your 10″ subwoofer is purchased, you will be quite happy with it’s versatility and sound excellence it produces for years to come.
