all the others were quite outdone
they told me to think of the longer run
but i know wasn’t silly casual fun
okay, well i haven’t really made up the rest properly, but do you like it?
usually I troll the shit out of Y!answers, but i promise you a serious answer.
firstly, I think there’s too much rhyming, but it works if you sing some of them fast.
obviously lyric critique is impossible because to properly analyse it you must hear it sang, but the lines flow almost perfectly, and there were absolutely no cringe worthy metaphors (as there often are in ‘love’ songs). I think the last set of rhymes would work perfectly in the place of the bridge, because it’s sort of set aside from the story style of the three previous parts, and is a more general kind of overview (for want of a better word) of the love its about, but more importantly for a bridge, it could be applied to any part of the song and still work.
as a lyricist myself, I am truly jealous. I don’t know whether you have immense natural talent or have the drive of a 4×4, but holy shit this is good.
