Can u wear color pens on your Army ACU’s?
Well if you are in the Army for the official answer you will need to check AR 670-1. As a rule of thumb though Soldiers are supposed to always have a black ink pen and a notepad to write with. It is best to have a pen that slides all the way into the ACU sleeve pen slot. If you have colorful pens sticking out it is unprofessional and also you’re not really supposed to have anything colorful visible on your uniform, just black and other authorized camo colors. If you have a NCO who is big on wear and appearance of the uniform it will be a problem. It also depends on your job, certain MOS’ are allowed to have full pens visible, I think cooks and medical field Soldiers apply to this part of the reg.
